Congratulations to our National Competition Winners
The winners of the special 2022 combined National String Competition and Lewis Eady National Piano Competition, presented by Lewis Eady Charitable Trust and the Hill Family Foundation for Art and Music, were announced in a prize giving following the conclusion of the Grand Final performances held on Saturday 12 February at the Diocesan School Performing Arts Centre.
NZJPC 2020 Semi-Finalists Announced
LECT received over 40 entries this year; double the entries received in 2018. This year's semi-finalists are from Auckland, Wellington, Lower Hutt, and Christchurch, and aged between 10 to 18 years old. The NZJPC Preliminary Adjudicator commended the excellent quality of music-making and the dedication from each applicant.
